Paul Andrejco
Founder
Paul began his career with the Jim Henson Company in New York gluing new feathers to old chickens and picking up janitorial work on the side. So adept a chicken re-featherer was he that he was soon promoted to a position as a designer and given his very own office in a broom closet under the stairs. From there he created numerous characters that are well loved to this day such as Big Mean Carl, Joe the Armadillo, and the entire cast of Bear in the Big Blue House.
All along the way, however, Paul continued to nurture his dream of working in an environment of open creativity and play, a place where the most talented of people in the industry could come together and be exploited into doing his bidding.
Paul has directed and produced several short films including Omar’s Mother, Ye Ballade of Ivan Petrofsky Skevar, and I Knew an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly. Paul has also directed “The Wonderpets in the Land of OZ,” a double episode of the popular animated children’s series.
